RM Winery About Photo

The Rodrigue Molyneaux Estate Winery & Vineyard is owned and family operated by Nancy & Garry Rodrigue and their daughter Lindsey Roffey.

Garry is the principal winemaker and vintner. An emeritus professor at UC-Davis in the Applied Sciences, Garry's background gives him the technical skills needed to understand the chemistry of making good wine. He loves to dig in the shelves of the campus libraries for the perfect book that will improve his wine. Mostly, he enjoys working as the vineyard manager, for he believes that good grapes are the key to good wine.

At Rodrigue Molyneaux, we believe that the great wine must come from great grapes. The farming of our grapes requires intensive monitoring of the watering and pruning techniques. These farming practices keeps the yield down to three tons or less per acre. Although the yield will be smaller, the grapes will be larger with more fruit flavor. This is the reason Rodrigue Molyneaux red wines are so robust with a fruit-driven complex flavor.

Garry & Nancy are almost always in the winery to answer questions or to just talk about their wine. They enjoy sharing their wine and invite experts and novices alike to come by on the weekends.
