Discover the history of winemaking at Rodrigue Molyneaux with an exclusive look into the RM wine library. Our Level 1 Sommelier will guide guests through four RM Estate Cabernet Sauvignon wines: three library vintages and a preview of an unreleased vintage. Identify the unique terroir you can only taste in RM wines grown on our slice of the Livermore AVA.
Earth Day Celebration

Spend a relaxing afternoon taking an informational walk of our California native plant gardens that surround our tasting room. In honor of Earth Day, a portion of every tasting fee on Saturday, April 20 will be donated to the East Bay Regional Parks Foundation. Guests are also invited to take home cuttings from our bay leaf tree.

Wine 101: Fruit, Acids, Tannins

There’s no mystery to wine-tasting – only practice. Club members are invited to learn wine-tasting basics in this fun and engaging class. In this informative class, we’ll look at the diverse fruit profiles in RM wines as well as identify the taste, mouthfeel and complexity that tannins bring to wine. Taught by one of our experienced tasting room staff members, this class includes an introduction to sensory evaluation on color, nose and palate and best practices in tasting methods.
Chocolate and Cabernet

All across Livermore Valley you’ll find chocolate and wine pairings this Valntine’s Day. But what’s the secret to achieving a balanced pairing? At the Chocolate and Cabernet RM Wine Club distribution party – you be the judge. Our expert tasting room staff will be on hand to walk you through tastings of a variety of chocolate pairings with our Estate Cabernet Sauvignon. Learn what works and what doesn’t when pairing chocolate and wine.

With delicious, homemade small bites paired with four of our most popular wines, you’ll be guided on what types of cheese compliment a palate-cleansing varietal. And, you will learn if you can serve a savory meat with one of our lightest Italians! Livermore Valley Barrel Tasting Weekend
Date: Saturday, March 23rd and Sunday, March 24th
Time: 12:00PM – 4:30PM
Join Rodrigue Molyneaux along with more than 30 additional Livermore Valley wineries for this annual ticketed weekend-long event. At RM Winery, event participants are invited into the barrel room to taste Merlot that is now aging in 3 unique barrels: French Oak, American Oak and Hungarian Oak. Compare how each of these different barrels affects the wine and how oak barrels can act like a spice rack for winemakers to produce a finished wine.
Saturday Only Winemaker Meredith Sarboraria will be in RM’s barrel room guiding guests through the barrel tastings of our Merlot and discuss how she approaches barrel management in her winemaking.
